Prospects.ac.uk attracts more than 40,000 daily browsers and has the highest number of page impressions recorded since before the recession, according to the latest figures from the Audit Bureau of Circulations Electronic (ABCe).
The figures further validate the status of the Graduate Prospects website as the biggest and busiest source for student and graduates careers information, advice and jobs.
There continue to be more than one million (1,069,337 audited in October 2011) monthly unique browsers on Prospects.ac.uk and page impressions have leapt to 2007 levels at a daily average of 200,309.
Mike Hill, chief executive of Graduate Prospects says: 'Despite the difficult economic climate, we haven’t stopped investing in our business and our profile, and we continue to cut-through what is a challenging and volatile market by improving, growing and diversifying.
'There are becoming fewer channels of careers support available and therefore people are coming to us for information and advice. These are uncertain times, so, people are turning to sources that they trust.'
Prospects.ac.uk’s traffic has been boosted by improvements to the website, new and engaging content and social media as well as further investment in online marketing and search engine optimisation.
Hill adds: 'The high and sustained traffic to our website is also testament to our close partnership with university careers services and I’d like to thank their staff for directing students and graduates to our pages.'
